The Ecosystem

The following sections allow you to make the most of your plan's information by viewing the data in different ways and reporting with filtering and connected views.

Your Dashboard

Once you log in you will arrive at the Dashboard. Each Dashboard consists of:

  1. Vision

  2. Ecosystem Plan

  3. Ecosystem Centre

On your header, you have links to (except in the free account)

  1. All Sub-groups - can be edited in Ecosystem Centre to be named department/project as necessary

  2. My Sub-groups - subgroup you have created or have been assigned Admin of

  3. Plans - all plans from all sub-groups appear here

Next on your dashboard, you will see the option to see your ecosystem as an organogram, to go to all sub-groups or to the ones you have been assigned to.

Finally, you have the option to see all plans, edit your profile or access resources such as the One Planet goals and guidance or tutorials.


The vision part of your plan is the opportunity for you to outline what is at the heart of your organisation's sustainability plan. All details added to the vision section are added to your reports and so it’s important to keep this up-to-date.

To edit the vision:

  1. Select View on vision on the Dashboard

  2. Select Edit View

  3. Add details

Creating your plans

Ecosystem plan and Shared Outcomes/Indicators

Your Ecosystem Plan will be the Plan all others relate to. It is the vision the company has for their sustainability strategy. It includes Outcomes the company wants to work towards and Indicators to track progress. As seen on the left, different projects relate to the single vision of the Asset Management Company, also called the Ecosystem Plan.

Another example: if your organisation is a company and the subgroups are departments, the ecosystem has details of the Outcomes and Indicators that each department needs to focus on even though the individual department plans might be different from each other. So Operations, Sales and Customer Support are likely to only adopt some, but hopefully most, of the Outcomes and Indicators of the Ecosystem plan and then add additional indicators and Actions that are most relevant to their department.

Below is an example of an ecosystem plan. It includes Outcomes (the circles) and Indicators (the squares). Outcomes and indicators can be shared: they will have a white border and can be adopted in action plans by clicking on Connect in the action plan.

Working on your Ecosystem Plan:

  1. Select View

  2. View your Ecosystem Dashboard

  • manage who is able to view and edit the plan

  • manage the plan’s profile: image, name

  • manage which other ecosystem your plan is connected to

  • choose which view you would like to proceed with Mindmap/Table/Document

Several options are offered in the middle box: see the plan in different views (mindmap, table, document), publish the plan on’s website, edit the name or the image, connect the plan to another one, duplicate it, move it to another sub-group, delete it or manage the reports generated.

In the last box, you can invite members or guests to this specific plan.

There are three different views possible to look at your plan, as described in the next section. Whichever view you choose, it will show you the same data.
